Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the company's delivery services, increase brand awareness, attract new customers, and retain existing clients. This role involves overseeing marketing campaigns, digital marketing efforts, market research, and brand positioning to support business growth and enhance customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with company goals to drive customer acquisition and retention.

  • Campaign Management: Design, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, print, and local advertising.

  • Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand identity and messaging to ensure consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.

  • Digital Marketing: Manage online presence through website optimization, SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content creation to increase visibility and engagement.

  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities for growth.

  • Customer Engagement: Develop initiatives to improve customer experience, loyalty programs, and feedback mechanisms.

  • Partnership & Community Outreach: Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and strategic partners to expand market reach.

  • Performance Tracking: Analyze marketing campaign performance using KPIs and analytics tools; prepare reports and optimize strategies accordingly.

  • Budget Management: Plan and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure marketing activities support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in logistics, delivery, or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and analytics tools.

  • Excellent communication, creative, and strategic thinking skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.

  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.

Knowledge of local markets and customer behaviors related to delivery services.

  • Creative mindset with a passion for brand storytelling.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and SEO/SEM strategies.

Languages

  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Amharic.

  • Speaking and writing local language is a plus
