Position Title: Junior Electrician

Location: Green Technology Ethiopia PLC, Kality, Addis Ababa
Job Type: Full-time
Position Summary
We are looking for a Junior Electrician with a focus on Electric Vehicles (EVs) to assist in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of EV electrical systems. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to build hands-on experience in a growing EV-focused industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of EV charging systems, wiring, and electrical infrastructure.
Support diagnostics and repairs of EV electrical components such as batteries, motors, and control systems.
Follow safety procedures, especially when working with high-voltage systems.
Conduct basic electrical testing and inspections under supervision.
Maintain tools and electrical equipment in proper working condition.
Document work done and report issues to the senior electrician or supervisor.
Learn and stay updated on the latest EV technologies and standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering & related field's.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in electrical work; exposure to EV systems is an advantage.
Skills:
Basic understanding of EV components and high-voltage safety.
Familiarity with multimeters, wiring tools, and electrical schematics.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and work in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and safety-minded.
