Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Property Management Oversight:
    Supervise property managers, ensuring efficient operations, lease negotiations, maintenance, and tenant relations. 

  • Financial Management:
    Manage property budgets, track income and expenses, and ensure financial performance aligns with established goals. 

  • Compliance:
    Ensure properties comply with all relevant laws and regulations, including safety, zoning, and environmental standards. 

  • Maintenance and Repairs:
    Oversee property maintenance and repairs, coordinating with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely and effective solutions. 

  • Tenant Relations:
    Manage tenant communication, address concerns and complaints, and work to maintain positive tenant relationships. 

  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement strategies to improve property performance, enhance value, and achieve organizational goals. 

  • Team Leadership:
    Provide direction, guidance, and support to property management teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. 

  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including property owners, tenants, and vendors. 

Job Requirements

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a senior management role within the property management industry. 

  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership, team management, and delegation skills. 

  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and expense management. 

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to property management, tenant relations, and financial performance. 

  • Knowledge of Property Management: Familiarity with property management processes, procedures, and best practices. 

  • Legal and Regulatory Compliance:Understanding of relevant laws and regulations related to property management. 

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, real estate) is often required, and advanced degrees may be preferred.
