Mission and Responsibilities

Managing budgets and financial plans for an organization in order to optimize resources and maximize profits. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Developing, implementing and managing financial plans and budgets

  • Preparing financial reports and presenting them to upper management and stakeholders

  • Providing financial advice and assistance to various departments within the organization

  • Identifying areas of improvement in financial management procedures and implementing changes

  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws

  • Conducting financial analyses to assist in decision-making processes

  • Managing cash flow, monitor the forecasted budget and ensuring appropriate allocation of funds;

  • Monitoring financial performance and making recommendations for improvements

  • Collaborating with external auditors and other financial professionals

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Accounting and Finance with at least 3-years proven experience in cost and budget section. Managerial experience is a plus.

Performance Management

Quality of work with, number of timely reports and deliverables

·Internal: AHF working units and employees

External: Suppliers

Competencies and Professional skills required

  • Analytical skills: Budget team-leaders must be able to analyze financial data and identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

  • Communication skills: Budget team-leaders need to be able to explain financial concepts and strategies to non-financial employees and stakeholders.

Attention to detail: Budget team-leaders must be detail-oriented to ensure that all financial reports and budgets are accurate.

  • Strategic thinking: Budget team-leaders must be able to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization’s overall mission and goals.
