Job Description
KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU vehicle in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Accountant (Hawassa) position.
Responsible for performing cost recording, analyses and preparing budget reports; combine different data, prepare detail reports, and establish and update database and manage cost information while ensuring company policy and procedure, and financial guidelines.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of processing of disbursements according to policies and procedures of the company.
Plan, identify and record variable costs and fixed costs.
Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
Participate in developing data accumulation systems.
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and necessary verifications.
Prepare budgeting utilization reports, including variance analysis for each department within the Business Unit.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasts.
Assist in month-end, and year-end closing.
Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Ensure that required documentation and authorization is present to effect payment.
Accumulate and analyze costs, prepares cost per unit.
Prepare budget utilization reports including variance analysis.
Prepare periodical performance reports and submits to his/her supervisor.
Participate and skill upgrading trainings and learn new skills and improve performance.
Required Number : 1(One)
Qualification : BA Degree in Finance and Accounting
Work Experience: 4 years in relevant role
Required Competence :
Communication – both verbal and written
Computer literate with good numeric skills
Analytical skill
Knowledge about IFRS principles
Knowledge about tax laws and regulations
