The primary responsibility of this role is to train customer operators on various Caterpillar product ranges, ensuring safe and efficient equipment usage. Additionally, the candidate will assist in loading/unloading machinery at the Gellan facility or customer sites, as well as support service and other departments when required. Duties also include transporting parts, materials, and tools between workshop locations and providing transportation services for company guests and management as needed. The ideal candidate should be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and capable of handling multiple operational tasks.

Responsibilities

• Walkaround inspection & daily checks

• Maintenance (warning symbols) 

• Operator controls 

• Machine technology if exist ex: (payload, 2-D grad system) for HEX, (payload, ride control, TC lockup) for WL, TTT, OHT, etc 

• Demonstrate professional operation technique.

• Trainees apply under his supervision to correct their mistakes and overcome all challenges.

• Perform daily walk around inspections and basic maintenance - Report any fault identified.

• Comply with company policies and guidelines.

• New and Experienced Operators: Your audience includes both new hires and experienced operators seeking skill enhancement.

• Cover a broader range of equipment models, specialized applications, and industry-specific challenges.

• Develop training programs tailored to specific operational needs, ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Adjust training methods to address emerging trends and evolving operational practices

• Train operators complex operational techniques, load management, and terrain adaptation.

Job Requirements

Education

• Technical/vocational certification in heavy equipment operation, mechanics, or a related field

Experience

• Relevant experience (e.g., 8+ years' operating/maintaining Caterpillar or similar machinery) may substitute for formal education.
