Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the supervision and guidance of the Corporate HRM & OD Department Manager, the Head, HR Admin. Division, is responsible for the planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling the overall operational activities of the company’s human resource administration functions; deciding on personnel actions and disciplinary matters under its jurisdiction or in accordance with delegated authority; initiating and implementing  sound and modern human resources management practices such as recruitment, placement, transfer, promotion, demotion, termination, employee compensation, recognition, employee benefit and reward programs and other similar HR administration matters in all the company’s business units and the corporate office.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities 

  1. Plans, organizes, coordinates, directs and controls the overall operational activities of the company’s human resource administration functions;

  2. Makes correspondence and dealing with third parties in areas of responsibilities upon getting authorization and delegation from the Department Manager;

  3. Decides on personnel actions and disciplinary matters under its jurisdiction or in accordance with delegated authority;

  4. Follows up for the proper application and enforcement of HR related company rules, and regulations, across all levels of the company;

  5. Promotes the maintenance of good labor- management relation in the working environment that supports smooth business operation and mutual advantage;

  6. Participates in the development, updating and  revision of the HR strategy, HR plan,  human resources management policies and procedure manual of the company;

  7. Induces fertile environment to create integration, collaboration and harmony among employees of the company;

  8. Initiates and implements  sound and modern human resources management practices such as recruitment, placement, transfer, promotion, demotion, termination, employee compensation, recognition, employee benefit and reward programs and other similar HR administration matters in all the company’s business units and the corporate office; 

  9. Ensures the consistent, uniform and proper application of labor law and other company rules, HR policy and procedures across all levels of the company;

  10. Administers the up keeping, and updating  of employees’ data, records, personal file and other correspondence management activities of the company;

  11. Coordinates the timely conduct of overall staff performance appraisal in accordance with the prevailing company’s policy and rules;

  12. Prepares  and provides human resource information to internal and external users as deemed necessary;

  13. Ensures that there are safe working conditions and that hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues of the workplace are avoided;

  14. Ensues the prevalence and maintenance of disciplinary rules in the company premise and strict compliance of company employees to such rules while performing their regular duties;

  15. Assesses HR related problems such as labor turnover, absenteeism, employees morale, employee grievance, disciplinary breach, disputes, etc. and recommends remedial actions;

  16. Monitors, controls and evaluates  the day to day activities of staff under his supervision and ensures that they are discharging the assigned duties and responsibilities in a proper manner;

  17. Submits regular and extraordinary performance reports relating to human resources administration functions of the company;

  18. Assists in the preparation of capital and operating budget of the Department;

  19. Supervises and evaluates the performance of subordinates;

  20. Performs other similar functions as and when required.

Job Requirements

From recognized university/college second degree in Management/ Business Administration/ Business Management/Human Resource Management/ Personnel Management/Public Administration or other relevant field of study and 5years related work experience, out of which 2 years in supervisory or senior expertise position 

Or

From recognized university/college first degree in Management/ Business Administration/ Business Management/Human Resource Management/Personnel Management/Public Administration or other relevant field of study and 7 years related work experience, out of which 3 years in supervisory or senior expertise position/s
