Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain and update accurate student and staff records using the school’s digital systems
Handle registration data, class lists, grade reports, and transcripts
Support school departments in record generation and data verification
Coordinate with IT and academic departments to ensure data accuracy and security
Respond to internal and external record-related inquiries in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with data privacy and protection policies
Assist in the implementation and usage of the school’s ERP/SIMS
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analysis, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in academic institutions or data/records management roles is preferred Strong attention to detail and proficiency in record management systems
Professional Competencies and Required Skills:
Strong IT skills including proficiency in:
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Drive, etc.)
Database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MS SQL Server)
Student Information Systems (SIS), ERP, or similar platforms
Data entry and accuracy: Fast, error-free data input with attention to detail
Data security and confidentiality: Understanding of best practices for data protection and integrity
Communication skills: Ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and parents
Location: – Addis Ababa
