Duties and Responsibilities

● Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site to identify and address potential hazards.

● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.

● Document inspection findings and take or recommend corrective actions as needed.

● Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the root causes and prevent recurrence.

● Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.

● Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and evaluate risks.

● Develop and implement control measures to mitigate risks.

● Develop and implement emergency response plans.

● Conduct regular emergency drills and training.

● Provide safety training and education to all employees and contractors.

● Ensure that employees are qualified and competent to perform their duties safely.

● Follow up compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the company’s operations.

● Maintain accurate records of safety activities and inspections.

● Engage with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on safety and environmental matters.

● Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Engineering or relevant fields of study with a minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience.
