LionHeart Academy is committed to inclusive education and personalized learning. We are looking for a compassionate, skilled SEN Instructor who can meet the diverse learning needs of students through tailored support and intervention strategies. 

General Overview of Position 

As an SEN Instructor, you will support students with a range of learning differences, helping them reach their full potential through individualized planning, differentiated instruction, and collaboration with families and teachers. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Student Assessment and Support Plans: 

• Identify learning needs and create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). 

• Provide direct instruction and interventions tailored to student goals. 

2. Collaboration and Coaching: 

• Partner with classroom teachers to adapt instruction and provide in-class support. 

• Serve as a resource to staff on inclusive practices. 

3. Monitoring and Reporting: 

• Track students’ progress toward IEP goals and communicate regularly with parents. 

4. Professional Development: 

• Stay current with SEN best practices and support school-wide awareness.

Job Requirements

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in special education, Psychology, or related field (master’s preferred). 
• Teaching experience with diverse learners. 
• Understanding of inclusive education principles. 
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
