ADCO Management PLC is looking to hire a Water Treatment Technician for a subsidiary project its operating MINAB Wellness Club, a flagship wellness project delivering exceptional spa, fitness, and holistic health services. The Water Treatment Technician is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all water supply and treatment systems across the facility. This includes potable and borehole water systems, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, showers, and fountains. The role ensures compliance with international water treatment standards, safe handling of related equipment and chemicals, and accurate maintenance of service documentation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and maintain all water treatment systems across the facility, including those for pools, Jacuzzis, showers, fountains, and potable water supply.
Conduct routine water testing and chemical analysis to ensure compliance with international water quality and safety standards, particularly those relevant to wellness and spa operations.
Ensure proper disinfection, pH balance, and chemical dosing for all recreational and therapeutic water features to guarantee guest safety and comfort.
Document and report water quality results and maintenance activities; promptly address any deviations or system malfunctions.
Safeguard all water treatment equipment, chemicals, and related manuals to ensure safe and proper usage.
Assist in preparing water systems for inspections by health and safety authorities; ensure full compliance with hygiene protocols and operational standards.
Collaborate closely with Spa and Housekeeping teams to support uninterrupted operations of water-based services and amenities.
Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards aligned with wellness industry expectations, promoting a safe and pleasant environment for guests and staff.
Coordinate with other technical units (plumbing, mechanical, electrical) for integrated maintenance efforts.
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimize service interruptions.
Job Requirements
Position Requirement:
Diploma in water technology, chemistry, plumbing or general mechanic.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in operating and maintaining water treatment systems (potable, pool, Jacuzzi, showers).
Practical experience with water quality testing and analysis.
Exposure to interfacing disciplines such as plumbing, mechanical, and control systems is an advantage.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Excellent knowledge of tools & machines used in the trade,
Sound knowledge of reading & understanding as-built drawings and manuals;
Ability in strictly & consistently applying safe working practices,
Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments,
Willing to work in different shift hours other than the day shift,
Capable of working in a team environment;
Ability with good communication skills using English & local languages (both verbal & written).
