Job Summary:

The Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all water supply, water treatment, drainage, and sewage systems across the facility. The role includes implementing effective planned preventive and emergency maintenance for all water storage and distribution systems, including potable and borehole water, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, showers, and fountains. The Plumber ensures these systems operate safely and efficiently, in compliance with established health and safety standards, contributing to a hygienic and seamless guest experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, inspection, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures, including piping, pumps, valves, and drains.

• Maintain and service water supply lines, hot and cold-water systems, pool and Jacuzzi plumbing, and sanitation systems.

• Ensure proper operation of drainage and sewage systems, promptly addressing clogs, leaks, or blockages.

• Carry out preventive maintenance on water supply and distribution systems as per the scheduled plan.

• Respond to plumbing emergencies quickly to minimize service disruptions in guest areas.

• Ensure all plumbing work complies with national standards and internal safety protocols.

• Collaborate with other technical staff (e.g., electrotechnicians, HVAC, water treatment) for coordinated facility operations.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reference manuals related to plumbing infrastructure.

• Ensure the safe storage and proper handling of plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.

• Support inspections by regulatory or health authorities to ensure compliance in guest and operational areas.

Job Requirements

Position Requirement:

• Diploma in Plumbing / General Mechanics from a recognized College or Technical School.        

• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in full-fledged plumbing works. 

• With main responsibility being a plumber, very good knowledge & work experience in the installation, repair & maintenance of water storage & supply systems for applications of potable water, pool, jacuzzi, showers and bathrooms are advantageous. 

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of tools & machines used in plumbing works, 

• Sound knowledge of reading & understanding as-built drawings and manuals; 

• Ability in strictly & consistently applying safe working practices, 

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments, 

• Willing to work in different shift hours other than the day shift, 

• Capable of working in a team environment; 

• Ability with good communication skills using English & local languages (both verbal & written).
