ADCO Management PLC is looking to hire a Electrotechnician for a subsidiary project its operating MINAB Wellness Club, a flagship wellness project delivering exceptional spa, fitness, and holistic health services. The Electrotechnician is responsible for the daily operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of all electrical, electronic, and related mechanical systems within the facility. This includes equipment and infrastructure such as boilers, generators, lighting systems, water treatment plants, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, laundry and kitchen equipment, and fountains. The technician ensures that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices particularly in support of a seamless and comfortable guest experience in a wellness environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, routine inspection, and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and electronic components.

• Troubleshoot faults and breakdowns in electrical and electromechanical equipment using appropriate diagnostic tools.

• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical safety regulations and building codes.

• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for all electrical assets, ensuring optimal system reliability.

• Maintain electrical systems serving guest amenities, including spa areas, pools, Jacuzzis, and lighting systems.

• Support continuous power supply for critical systems such as water treatment, HVAC, and kitchen/laundry operations.

• Collaborate with other technical departments (plumbing, mechanical, HVAC) for integrated system maintenance.

• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.

• Ensure a safe and hazard-free work environment by consistently following safety procedures.

• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues that could impact guest experience or facility safety.

Job Requirements

Position Requirement:

• Vocational diploma in Electrical & Electronics technology or related course. 

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, and an understanding of how to interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.

• License in electrical work is a huge plus. 

• Sound knowledge & experience of other technical disciplines, which interface with water treatment, e.g.: plumbing, mechanical and controls systems is advantageous.

• Competence in adhering to safety protocols and procedures.

• Ability to keep comprehensive records.

• High attention to detail

• Excellent knowledge of tools & machines used in the trade, 

• Sound knowledge of reading & understanding as-built drawings and manuals; 

• Ability in strictly & consistently applying safe working practices, 

• Ability to work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments, 

• Willing to work in different shift hours other than the day shift, 

• Capable of working in a team environment; 

• Ability with good communication skills using English & local languages (both verbal & written).
