Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Laboratory Preparation and Support
• Prepare equipment, chemicals, specimens, and other resources needed for practical lessons.
• Support teachers in setting up experiments aligned with Cambridge curriculum objectives.
• Assist during practical sessions to ensure safety and correct use of equipment.
2. Equipment and Inventory Management
• Maintain an accurate inventory of laboratory equipment, materials, and chemicals.
• Ensure routine inspection, maintenance, and calibration of lab instruments.
• Arrange for repairs or replacements as needed
Laboratory Maintenance
• Keep all laboratories clean, organized, and stocked.
• Ensure secure storage and management of materials and supplies.
• Maintain records of laboratory incidents or hazards and report them promptly.
Job Requirements
• Degree in laboratory science, chemistry, biology, or a related technical field.
• Prior experience in a school or educational laboratory is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Cambridge lower secondary or IGCSE Science practical requirements is desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of laboratory safety regulations and equipment care.
