Duties & Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop both frontend and backend components of core systems and applications.

• Adapt and enhance systems to meet regional requirements, incorporate user input, and align with specific policy goals.

• Ensure alignment with national interoperability frameworks and international technical standards.

• Lead thorough code reviews, manage version control, and uphold high standards in documentation, quality assurance, and testing.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers and support technical capacity development within partner organizations.

• Integrate security best practices and optimize application responsiveness and performance across platforms

• Contribute to DevOps workflows by automating CI/CD pipelines, testing procedures, and deployment processes.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Experience: 4+ years in software development.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular/React, Node.js, Java (or comparable stacks).

• Expertise in RESTful APIs, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Bonus: Experience with DHIS2, OpenMRS, or similar platforms.
