Job Description
Nomad is a design and build company specializing in creative, functional, and minimalist office and commercial spaces. We believe great design is purposeful, adaptable, and built for growth. We are looking for a passionate Lead Interior Designer to help us bring that vision to life.
Position Purpose:
Bridge the gap between design and execution. Ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery of projects.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Translate approved designs into execution timelines and schedules.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, laborers, and subcontractors.
Procure or oversee procurement of materials, ensuring timely delivery.
Track progress daily, address on-site issues, and report to CEO.
Keep cost logs, change orders, and progress documentation updated.
Conduct quality checks against design intent and technical specs.
Communicate project status to the CEO and client regularly.
Work with Admin/Finance on budgeting and payment follow-ups.
Salary – Negotiable
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in project coordination, site supervision, or fit-out project management.
Experience in interior design-build or commercial construction is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and understanding of BoQs, technical drawings, and procurement processes.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with ability to handle fast-moving project environments.
Familiarity with quality control, change orders, budgeting, and documentation processes.
Excellent communication skills to interface with clients, designers, and site teams.
