Job Position: QC Chemist /2                             

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Involve in analysis of raw materials, water samples, in-process and finished products.

  2. Involve in the analysis of stability samples.

  3. Prepare reagents and solutions necessary for the analysis & standardize as per procedure.

  4. Record the analytical results in respective books/ records & complete reports & charts along with samples analyzed.

  5. Calibrate instruments as per schedule and fill logs.

  6. Collect and maintain records of retention /control Samples of raw materials, finished products and stability samples as per procedure.

  7. Revise SOPs and test procedures for raw materials, finished goods and submit for check and approval.

  8. Revise formats and submit to immediate supervisor for check and approval.

  9. Participate in the analysis of validation samples.

  10. Participate in validation of analytical methods.

  11. Maintain inventory in laboratory with respect to availability of chemicals &reagents, glassware, standard solutions etc.

  12. Report to immediate supervisor on the daily analysis activities. 

  13. Suggest any ideas for implementation that may help on the improvement of quality system.

  14. Ensure that the laboratory is maintained clean as per SOP. 

  15. Perform any other activities assigned by the department head from time to time.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • BSc. Degree in Chemistry from a recognized College University 

  • Minimum of 3 Year Experience in physico Chemical analyst and Related area

Competencies and Skills

  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures

  •  Understanding of cGMP
