Job Description

The Assistant HR Manager supports the HR Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer service and team performance. This role involves supervising employees, managing workflow, and assisting in strategic planning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in organizing, planning, and implementing business strategies.

  • Supervise employees and ensure adherence to company policies.

  • Handle workers complaint and provide solutions.

  • Monitor and manage workers grievance in each shed, and operational costs.

  • Conduct employee performance and support training initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.

  • Coordinate schedules and workflow to optimize productivity.

  • Support recruitment and on-boarding of new employees.

  • Maintain a positive work environment and motivate staff.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred).

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in garment factory

  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Excellent data management and analytical skills

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant management software.

  • Amharic / Afaan Oromo
