Job Description
Golden Petroleum Share Company (PLC) is a legally registered and reputable supplier of fuel and lubricants in Ethiopia. We manage our own network of fuel depots and specialize in importing petroleum products through Djibouti, supplying them to gas stations and various organizations nationwide. We are currently looking to hire a qualified professional for the position outlined below on a permanent basis.

Job Description – Internal Auditor
Position Title: Senior Accountant
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Conduct internal audits to assess financial accuracy, risk, and compliance with policies and procedures.
Review and verify accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documents.
Identify audit issues and provide recommendations for improving internal controls.
Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
Ensure that company operations and transactions comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
Collaborate with relevant departments to address audit issues and monitor corrective actions.
Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of risk management procedures and control systems.
Compensation:
Salary and benefits will be offered based on the company's established salary scale
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree (First Degree) in Accounting.
Work Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of post-graduation experience in auditing.
Experience in the fuel industry is preferred and will be considered an advantage.

High ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.
Attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability.
Excellent report writing and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple audit assignments.
