Job Description

A sales  manager oversees a company’s entire sales process. He/She is responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that caters to the strengths of the sales team. As a sales manager, you will have a hand in product development, market research, initial release, ongoing marketing, and data analysis. He/She will generate new business leads, and oversee sales and marketing department staff. He/she also manages sales and marketing budgets and analyze trends.

Key Competencies and Skills:

  1. Digital Marketing Expertise:

    • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, email marketing, and social media platforms.

    • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, Google drive CRM platforms, and marketing automation software.

  2. Analytical Skills:

    • Strong data analysis capabilities to measure campaign success and make data-driven decisions.

    • Experience using performance metrics and KPIs to optimize sales and marketing efforts.

  3. Leadership and Team Management:

    • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering collaboration and productivity.

    • Excellent delegation and project management skills to ensure timely delivery of objectives.

  4. Communication Skills:

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to craft impactful messaging.

    • Strong interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.

    • Fluency in English Language

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current sales processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Execute sales strategies and monitor their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans and capture them.

  • Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

  • Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.

  • Identify training needs and organize regular training sessions for the sales team.

  • Review and optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales processes.

  • Ensure the sales team follows established sales processes and best practices.

  • Implement and monitor the use of sales tools and technologies.

  • Facilitate effective communication between the sales team and other departments.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising sales performance.

  • Identify human resources requirements and develop plan for meeting the requirements.

  • Conduct periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback

Salary: Negotiable

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree /Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or related fields of study with a minimum of eight (3) years of demonstrated experience, with at least four (1) years in a managerial role
