Provide academic, emotional, and social guidance to students.
Identify students facing challenges and offer counseling or intervention support.
Conduct regular one-on-one and group counseling sessions.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school leadership to support student well-being.
Develop and implement guidance programs that foster personal growth, resilience, and academic motivation.
Support students with career exploration and academic planning (especially upper primary/lower secondary).
Maintain student confidentiality and adhere to ethical counseling practices.
Organize workshops and awareness programs on topics like stress management, bullying, conflict resolution, and mental health.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an international school setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work sensitively and effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
Fluency in English (written and spoken); Amharic and additional local languages are an asset.
Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum or international educational frameworks is a plus.
