Job Description
Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, including posting job openings, conducting interviews, and preparing employment contracts.
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll processing.
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
Handle employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend resolutions.
Coordinate training and development programs for staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
Assist in performance management and employee appraisal processes.
Stay updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by HR management.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or HR certifications like SHRM/PHR is a plus).
Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law (or applicable local laws).
Experience with HRIS systems and payroll software.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Fluent in English and Amharic.
