We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality and Safety Manager to join our dynamic team.
The Quality and Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance and safety management systems within National Airways. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting a culture of safety across the organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with aviation regulations and industry best practices.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with safety and quality standards.
Lead investigations into incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
Prepare and present reports on quality and safety performance to senior management.
Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance and safety procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to aviation safety and quality management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and safety management within the aviation industry.
Strong knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
Proven experience in conducting audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, Safety Management System certification) are a plus.
