Job Description
We are seeking qualified and motivated Field Engineers / Enumerators to support on-site data collection for an electrical distribution system project. The role involves identifying and documenting Low Voltage (LV) assets and customer meters, capturing accurate GPS coordinates, completing attribute tables, and maintaining data integrity throughout the fieldwork process.
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Project Duration: 4 months
Duty Station: Field-based with coordination at Head Office/Addis Ababa
Required Number of positions: Multiple (>40)
Remuneration: As per the organization pay scale plus other applicable staff benefits
Application Deadline: July 05, 2025
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys of distribution network assets.
Identify and record LV assets and customer meters.
Capture precise GPS coordinates and attribute data.
Ensure completeness, accuracy, and integrity of all collected data.
Coordinate with the GIS expert for quality assurance.
Report progress and field observations to the Project Manager.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and related fields.
Minimum of 1 year experience in distribution network field surveys,
OR proven exposure to electrical distribution systems.Familiarity with electrical distribution infrastructure, GPS equipment, and data collection tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in the field.
