Job Description
Job Title: Motion Graphic Designer
Location: Addis Ababa
Employment Type: Full-Time
One Planet International School is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Motion Graphic Designer to join our digital content production team. You will be responsible for creating engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual content that support our educational videos for Ethiopian students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both motion graphics and graphic design.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design and animate motion graphics for educational video content.
Create visual assets such as lower thirds, title cards, icons, info graphics, and explainer animations.
Collaborate with editors, curriculum experts, and other creative to bring lessons to life visually.
Ensure consistency in visual style and branding across all content.
Handle revisions based on feedback from the production and content teams.
Organize and deliver project files clearly and professionally.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in motion graphics or related design work.
Strong portfolio showcasing both motion graphics and graphic design work (must be attached with your application).
Proficient in design and animation tools such as Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro (or equivalent).
Basic understanding of storytelling and pacing in educational or explainer videos.
Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with the Ethiopian education system or educational content production.
