Job Description
The HR Officer is responsible for supporting the HR department in implementing effective human resource policies, procedures, and programs that ensure a productive and compliant work environment. The HR Officer will be responsible for day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, records management, benefits administration, and compliance.
Prepare and post job advertisements.
Screen applications and coordinate interview schedules.
Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new employees.
Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Support the resolution of employee complaints and grievances.
Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
Maintain up-to-date employee records both digitally and physically.
Process documentation for new hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
Ensure confidentiality and security of personnel data.
Assist in coordinating performance appraisal processes.
Support supervisors in tracking employee performance.
Monitor and record staff attendance and leaves.
Ensure leave policies are consistently applied and followed.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies.
Coordinate employee training programs and workshops.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of local labor laws and HR practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
