Job Overview: School of Global Citizens is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse to promote the health and well-being of our students. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care, support health education, and ensure a safe school environment.

 Key Responsibilities: 

• Health Services: Provide nursing care to students, including administering medications, first aid, and managing chronic health conditions. 

• Health Assessments: Conduct health screenings, monitor student health records, and maintain accurate health documentation. 

• Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency action plans for students with medical conditions and respond to health emergencies as needed. 

• Health Education: Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention. 

• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, staff, and parents to address health concerns and promote a healthy school environment. 

• Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with district health policies and state regulations regarding student health and safety.

Job Requirements

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. 

• Licensure: Current nursing license and CPR/First Aid certification.

Experience:

• Previous experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing is preferred.

Skills:: 

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations. 

• Proficient in using electronic health records and health management software.
