Position: Saving Mobilization and Member relation Officer

Henosis Saving and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd (HSACCO) is legally registered organization by the Cooperative bureau of Nifas Silk Lafto Sub city. Henosis SACCOS has a vision to be ‘ one of the best SACCO in Ethiopia that fulfills its members’ economic and social needs by 2030” with mission of ‘Improve socio-economic conditions of members & other people through mobilizing saving and creating access of credit’. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for mobilization of deposits and marketing of Henosis’s products.

• Sourcing for new clients for the Society

• Lead the development of a resource mobilization and fundraising strategy 

• Network and liaise with key donors in country 

• Support proposal development through coordinating the establishment of proposal development working groups with representatives from key departments (on an as needed basis

• Advice management working groups on potential funding opportunities and changes in donor priorities 

• Establish a database in line with Henosis’s procurement service policies. 

• Identify and source quality technical and programming support in a timely manner 

• Ensure resource mobilization team have individual work plans and up to date development plans

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

•  BA degree in Management, Cooperative management, Marketing Management, Communication, journalism or related field.

•  3 years of work experience with proven experience in SACCO

•  Strong understanding of the labor law, public relation and communication concepts.

•  Excellent communication and coordination skills.

•  Ability to work independently
