Job Description
Job Title: Senior Sales Officer
Location: Addis Ababa, Piassa area
Reporting To: CEO
Industry: Financial Services (SACCO/Cooperative)
Work Conditions: Monday through Friday, Full Day and Saturday, Half Day.

Since our April 2025 launch, we’ve been building simple, smart financial solutions tailored specifically for doctors, nurses, clinics, and medical staff and other health professionals – because they deserve financial service that understands healthcare.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Senior Sales Officer to drive membership growth and promote our financial services within the health sector. If you have sales expertise and a passion for healthcare, this role is your platform to make an impact!
Acquire new members (health professionals, clinics, hospitals) and onboard them to SACCO products.
Educate prospects on financial solutions tailored to healthcare needs (practice loans, equipment financing, savings plans).
Build strategic relationships with medical associations, health facilities, and industry networks.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and track performance metrics.
Represent Droga Health Sacco at health conferences, workshops, and community events.
Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns for the health sector.
Prepare sales reports and market feedback for strategy refinement.
Ideal Candidate
Educational Background: BA and above in any business-related field
Work experience: Relevant
Proven experience in sales/business development, preferably in banking, microfinance, or health-related sectors.
Health background (e.g., medicine, nursing, pharmacy, health admin) is a HUGE plus!
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
Deep understanding of healthcare professionals’ financial challenges.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and adept at relationship-building.
Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
