Job Description
Lovegrass Agro-Processing plc is seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to join its leadership team. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the Marketing Manager will oversee the end-to-end execution of 360° marketing activities for the full range of Lovegrass products. This includes setting brand strategy, leading integrated marketing campaigns, managing digital and social media platforms, and driving brand visibility and commercial growth. The role works closely with cross-functional teams—including sales, finance, production, and export—to ensure alignment and impact across local and international markets.
Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company’s mission to promote teff-based products, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all platforms in line with the brand book.
Plan, budget, and execute full-funnel marketing campaigns, including advertising, public relations, trade events, and promotional activities.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (sales, production, finance, CRM) and external partners to develop campaign assets, designs, POS materials, digital content, and branded merchandise.
Lead digital marketing initiatives, managing the company’s online presence including social media, websites, and e-commerce channels, using tools like Meta Business Suite to analyze and enhance digital performance.
Monitor and analyze marketing performance using KPIs and analytics dashboards to optimize campaigns and improve return on investment.
Coordinate product launches and trade marketing efforts in collaboration with the sales team, including promotional calendars, in-market activations, and product sampling programs.
Develop brand training materials and support commercial operations by equipping teams with product knowledge, tools, and customer-facing resources.
Conduct competitor benchmarking and trend analysis to ensure the brand remains agile, relevant, and aligned with evolving FMCG market dynamics.
Present strategic marketing insights and recommendations to senior leadership, using data-driven reports to inform business decisions and identify opportunities for innovation or new market entry.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Commercial Manager.
Duty Station: Head Office at Addis Ababa
Remuneration and Compensation: Negotiable based on Qualification
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of marketing experience, ideally in an FMCG sector.
Direct experience in FMCG product marketing is highly preferred.
Professional Experience:
Proven track record in developing campaign strategies, achieving volume targets, managing digital platforms, and supporting sales efforts across both peak and off-season cycles.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing cross-functional teams, coaching staff, and leading effective internal and external communications.
Skilled in campaign execution, digital engagement, and cross-team collaboration to drive brand visibility and commercial performance within the Ethiopian FMCG market
