Position Summary: 

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Kindergarten Main Teacher to join our Kindergarten team at Tibeb Academy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong commitment to early childhood development, professional conduct, and a nurturing approach to working with young children.

The Kindergarten Main Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate learning experiences that support the holistic development of children aged 4–7 years. The teacher ensures a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that aligns with the Ethiopian Education’s standards and nurtures children’s cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and language development.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Teaching, or related field from a recognized institution.

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in an early childhood or Kindergarten setting.

• Understanding of Ethiopia’s Policy Framework and child development principles.

• Experience in handling students with special needs is also highly valued

• Fluent in (Amharic and English); other local languages are a plus.
