Position Summary:

The Kindergarten Principal provides strategic leadership and administrative oversight of all Kindergarten operations, ensuring high-quality early childhood education in compliance with Ethiopian Ministry of Education and city administration standards. The Principal is responsible for managing and inspiring  staff, implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment, and building strong relationships with parents ,teachers and  the local community. The principal also mentor KG teachers and coordinate with the school leadership team, managing annual plan , daily operations , schedules, knowledgeable about relevant Educational laws and regulations and closely work with Education office knowledgeable about relevant educational laws and regulations

Salary: Negotiable 

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Educational Administration, Child Psychology or related field 

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in teaching and administration within early childhood education.

• Experience must be from  private Kindergarten (KG) schools

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of child development principles, early learning standards,  education regulations  and special need  Education 

• Experience in Filing student records and  portfolios , managing annual calendars , planning and implementing events

• Short courses or trainings on crafts making, teaching aid preparation and Children music 

• Great at creating games, energizers, fun Activities

• Proficiency in using basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, school management systems).

• Fluent in (Amharic and English); other local languages are a plus.
