Job Description

The Senior HR Officer is responsible for overseeing key HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and compliance with labor laws. This role ensures the smooth execution of HR activities to attract, develop, and retain employees while supporting the HR department in driving a positive organizational culture. The Senior HR Officer also assists with the implementation of HR policies and procedures across the company.
Top Roles and Responsibilities:     

Recruitment and Selection:

  • Coordinate the recruitment process, including job posting, screening, and interviewing.

  • Ensure timely onboarding of new employees and proper orientation.

  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  •  Address employee concerns and handle grievance procedures effectively.

  • Foster a positive working environment through employee engagement initiatives.

  • Assist in resolving conflicts and promoting teamwork within the organization.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

  •  Prepare payroll data and ensure accurate processing of employee salaries.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payment of salaries and benefits.

  • Monitor compliance with tax regulations and other statutory requirements.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal systems.

  • Coordinate performance reviews and provide support to managers and employees.

  • Identify training needs and support employee development programs.

HR Policy Implementation and Compliance:

  •  Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.

  • Assist in the review and update of HR policies and procedures.

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

HR Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on HR metrics, including recruitment, turnover, and employee satisfaction.

  • Support the HR Manager with data analysis for strategic decision-making.

Performing other related duties as directed by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • BA/MA in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an HR-related role.
