Job Description
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction sites to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The role involves coordinating between the office and the site, managing labor and subcontractors, supervising construction activities, and ensuring compliance with engineering plans and specifications

Basic salary: 21,552 ETB
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations, monitor progress, and ensure quality control on-site.
Supervising, coordinating, and monitoring all inspection and testing activities, ensuring they are performed according to the QCP, project specifications, and relevant standards.
Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, and ensure construction aligns with design specifications.
Provide guidance to contractors and workers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure technical accuracy.
Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Act as a liaison between architects, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless communication.
Track materials, equipment, and labor to ensure efficient use and timely delivery.
Maintain site reports, progress logs, and compliance records for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Job Requirement:
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Construction Engineering
Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience in construction projects, experience in finishing work is plus
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management tools, and surveying equipment
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
