Job Description

Purpose of the job:

To ensure the company’s financial stability and growth, streamline operations and reduce costs, and attract, retain, and develop top talent by overseeing the financial, human resource, and administrative functions of the company

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement strategic plans for the Finance, HR, and Administration departments

  • Collaborate with the executive team and align departmental strategies with overall company objectives.

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Finance, HR, and Admin teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

  • Monitor the preparation of timely financial statements, regulatory filings, and audits.

  • Evaluate financial performance and implement strategies for cost control and financial efficiency.

  • Develop HR policies, procedures, and programs

  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Ensure effective HR practices and support for employee engagement, training, and career development.

  • Ensure the effective management of administrative processes and procedures to support operational efficiency.

  • Coordinate with other departments to streamline administrative operations and support company-wide initiatives.

  • Develop and implement internal controls and risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and ensure operational integrity.

  • Manage and resolve any compliance or regulatory issues

  • Identify and implement process improvements within the Finance, HR, and Administration departments.

  • Prepare and present reports on financial performance, HR metrics, and administrative operations to the executive team and board of directors.

Generic Duties of the Position:

  • Lead the development of the Function’s work plan and monitor their execution.

  • Monitor and ensure the proper utilization of the Function’s budgets.

  • Direct the identification and fulfillment of human resources requirements of the Function.

  • Supervise the development of policies and procedures for the Function and lead in their implementation and continuous review.

  • Review, approve and submit functional reports to relevant organs.

  • Support the development of subordinates through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue and feedback.

  • Oversee the systematic identification of skill and competency requirements for the Function.

  • Represent the function in external relationships related with the Function.

  • Take part in the group decision making process by forming part of different groups/committees.

Job Requirement

  • Qualifications and Experience: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in Construction, with at least four (4) years in a leadership role.   OR Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or relevant fields of study with a minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated experience, with at least five (5) years in a leadership role
