The IT Infrastructure Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s technology infrastructure. This includes data centers, servers, networks, cloud platforms, storage systems, and end-user computing environments. The manager ensures high system availability, security, and scalability to support business operations, while also leading the infrastructure team, managing vendors, and aligning IT operations with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud), including servers, storage, network devices, firewalls, and endpoints.

• Plan capacity upgrades, system replacements, and infrastructure improvements aligned with business growth and digital transformation goals.

• Ensure systems meet high availability (HA), performance, and disaster recovery (DR) requirements.

• Oversee LAN/WAN infrastructure, VPNs, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless solutions.

• Manage system administration for Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and backups.

• Monitor performance metrics and resolve system and network issues proactively.

• Work closely with the cybersecurity team to implement infrastructure-level security controls (e.g., patching, endpoint protection, network segmentation).

• Support compliance with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, or PCI DSS through technical controls and audit readiness.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and participate in incident response efforts.

• Manage infrastructure-related projects including network upgrades, cloud migrations, office relocations, and security implementations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget using standard project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications preferred: CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, VMware, AWS/Azure Certified, ITIL v4.

• Minimum 6–8 years of IT infrastructure experience, with 3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role.

• Hands-on expertise with networking, system administration, virtualization, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).

• Experience managing IT infrastructure in a regulated environment (e.g., banking, healthcare, telecom) is highly desirable.
