Number of people for the position: 7-10                                                                                                                         

Basic functions:

• Employee performs highly skilled maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work involved with electrical and mechanical systems.

• Electrical/Mechanical work may be performed in a number of areas including heating, refrigeration, motors, fire alarms, and generator equipment. 

• Work involves technical application of electrical/mechanical principles.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Repairing and overhauling electrical components, welding and cutting metal parts. 

• Installs, services and repairs electrical and mechanical equipment's. 

• Operates power hand tools and other specialized electrical/mechanical equipment. 

• Installs, repairs and services specialized electrical/mechanical equipment and machinery. 

• Constructs and maintains service equipment

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering/ with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible electrical/Mechanical experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical/mechanical trade. 

• Knowledge of applicable electrical/mechanical codes, standards, and regulations. 

• Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric system. 

• Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical/mechanical system equipment and components. 

• Skill in both verbal and written communication.
