Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to identify and mitigate workplace hazards, Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to enforce safety measures effectively, Proactive approach to risk management and problem-solving, 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams, Good record-keeping and reporting skills. 

• Safety Management: Promote and implement robust safety practices, including permit-to-work (PTW) systems, risk assessments, incident investigations, and emergency response planning 

• Team Leadership & Training: Manage and mentor the HSE team, ensuring effective communication, training, and performance management. Develop and implement HSE training programs for employees. h

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in HSE performance and implement changes to enhance safety, environmental performance, and compliance. 

• Experience with permit-to-work (PTW) systems and high-risk work procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: 

•  BSc degree in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or a related field preferred. 1/2 years of experience as a safety officer in a project environment.
