Major Responsibilities

• Receives written or verbal requests from the driver of the buses entering the garage and identifies technical defects and items to be repaired and replaced by voice, sight, smell, movement, etc. and gives them to the foreman to open a work order;

• After the work ordered to be done is completed, he visually inspects and confirms it one by one and reports it to the relevant body;;

• Performs the items ordered to be replaced according to the manufacturer’s standards according to the given km or date;

• Prepares the history jacket of each car and maintains maintenance data;

• Replaces items ordered to be replaced and ensures their replacement;

• To prevent road accidents and, when they occur, to receive accurate information from the driver and consult with technical experts and inform the technical manager, to make a decision, and to facilitate the way in which the stopped vehicle is repaired and to determine the necessary spare parts and manpower;,

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree Mechanical Engineering / Technical and positional   Diploma in Auto Mechanics   Label 4 or Label 3 from a recognized university/college in Mechanical/Auto Engineering/ similar fields of study.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• The incumbent must have at least 4 years working experience in similar positions

• Additional skills required: driving license, L-3 , L-4  and L-5  COC Certificate.

Remunerations

• Monthly Basic Salary ፡ 10,756.00 Birr

• Monthly Transport allowance : 900 birr
