Job Description
Young Roots English International School, a Cambridge-accredited private school in Addis Ababa, is seeking a passionate and qualified Art Teacher to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum.
Foster creativity and self-expression in students through a variety of artistic mediums.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Organize exhibitions and display students’ artwork within the school community.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate art across the curriculum where appropriate.
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
Valid teaching license/certification.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Cambridge or international school setting.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
