The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, delivering, and assessing training programs tailored to individuals or groups interested in Networking, CCTV system installation, operation, and maintenance. This role requires a strong technical background in CCTV systems, Networking as well as excellent communication and instructional skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Training Development:

• Design and develop comprehensive training materials, including lesson plans, presentations, manuals, and hands-on practical exercises focused on Networking, CCTV camera installation and maintenance.

• Stay updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to ensure the training curriculum remains relevant and effective.

2. Instruction and Delivery:

• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for various audiences, including technicians, security personnel, and business owners.

• Utilize various teaching methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises, to cater to different learning styles.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and practical evaluations.

• Provide constructive feedback and support to trainees to help them improve their skills and knowledge.

4. Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate proficiency in networking installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various CCTV camera systems and associated technologies.

• Stay current with the latest security technologies and advancements in CCTV systems.

5. Safety and Compliance:

• Educate trainees on safety protocols and compliance standards related to CCTV installation and maintenance, ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

6. Support and Consultation:

• Offer ongoing support and consultation to trainees after the completion of training programs to foster continuous improvement and skill development.

• Assist in resolving technical issues or concerns related to networking and CCTV systems.

7. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes.

• Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding training effectiveness and participant feedback.

Job Requirement:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Communication, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Experience: Previous training or teaching experience, preferably in a TVET College (minimum of 3 years preferred).

• Proven experience in higher education

• Strong knowledge of various CCTV technologies, including IP cameras, analog systems, DVR/NVR setup, video management systems and networking.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to engage and motivate individuals of varying skill levels.

• Relevant certifications in CCTV installation and maintenance (e.g., CCTV Technician Certification, Security System Technician Certification) are a plus.
