We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Coffee Export Director to drive our global market expansion, strengthen international partnerships, and ensure operational excellence across our coffee export business.

The Coffee Export Director is responsible for leading and expanding the company’s international coffee trade operations. This strategic role involves overseeing export logistics, building global partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving revenue growth through market development and product positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute export strategies to penetrate new international markets

• Identify global trends and emerging opportunities in the coffee industry

• Coordinate sourcing of green coffee beans from local producers and cooperatives

• Attend trade shows and represent the company in international forums

• Build and maintain relationships with international buyers, distributors, and partners

• Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure profitability and competitiveness

• Monitor global coffee prices and adjust strategies accordingly

• Oversee shipment planning, documentation, and customs clearance

• Ensure timely delivery and compliance with international trade regulations

• Coordinate with Logistics & Supply Chain Team to meet export demands

• Ensure adherence to export laws, trade agreements, and quality standards

• Manage risks related to foreign exchange, tariffs, and geopolitical factors

• Maintain accurate records and reporting for audits and government agencies

• Lead and mentor the export department staff

• Foster a performance-driven and customer-focused culture

Job Requirements

• MBA or BA in International Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a closely related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the coffee export business.

• At least 4 years in leadership roles, managing export teams.

• Extensive expertise and hands-on experience in coffee market operations, ECX systems, and global trade dynamics.

• Excellent skills in leadership, negotiation, and market analysis.
