Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Preparation annual budgets, rolling forecasts and variance analysis.
Cost accountants examine all costs associated with producing goods or providing services, including materials, labor, and overhead.
Develop and manage budgets, create financial forecasts, and project profit margins.
Compare actual costs to budgeted or standard costs, identifying and investigating any significant variances.
Handle inventory accounting, ensuring accurate inventory records and reconciliations.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency in production and other areas.
Prepare various cost reports for management, including monthly and quarterly reports.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor budget execution and expense planning.
Allocate cost of production by each farm product item.
Track direct and indirect costs and support pricing decision.
Analyze costs across unit farm production.
Technical and other skills
Good Knowledge of handling financial management.
Good communication skill.
Proficient in Basic Computer Operations
Job Requirement
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with three (3) years of relevant work experience. Experience in Agriculture organization is Advantageous.
