The Corrugated Iron Sheet Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining machinery used in the production of corrugated iron sheets. This role ensures the efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality sheets according to specifications and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate corrugating machines based on job orders and sheet specifications

• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and output

• Adjust machine settings to correct defects or improve performance

• Inspect finished sheets for alignment, thickness, and surface quality

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment

• Record production data and report any irregularities or downtime

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

• Collaborate with warehouse and quality control teams to meet production goals

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certificate preferred

• 2–3 years of experience operating sheet metal or corrugating machinery

• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and job orders

• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy materials throughout the shift

• Familiarity with roll forming and metal fabrication processes

• Knowledge of safety standards in industrial environments

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality control

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed
