Job Description

The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the sales process, improving efficiency, and ensuring the sales team has the tools, data, and strategies needed to achieve targets. This role involves analyzing sales performance, managing CRM systems, streamlining operations, and supporting the sales team with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in sales operations, and a background in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Process Optimization:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve efficiency and revenue growth.

    • Streamline sales processes, policies, and workflows to enhance productivity.

    • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and implement corrective measures.

  2. Sales Performance Analysis & Reporting:

    • Monitor and analyze sales metrics (KPIs, conversion rates, pipeline health).

    • Generate regular reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.

    • Provide actionable insights to the sales team and senior management.

  3. CRM & Sales Tools Management:

    • Oversee the company’s CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and ensure proper utilization.

    • Train and support the sales team on CRM best practices.

    • Implement automation tools to enhance sales efficiency.

  4. Sales Forecasting & Target Setting:

    • Collaborate with sales leadership to set realistic yet ambitious sales targets.

    • Develop accurate sales forecasts based on historical data and market trends.

    • Track progress against goals and recommend adjustments as needed.

  5. Incentive Programs & Sales Enablement:

    • Design and manage sales incentive programs to motivate the team.

    • Ensure sales reps have the necessary tools, training, and resources.

    • Work with marketing to align lead generation with sales efforts.

  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Liaise with marketing, finance, and supply chain to ensure smooth operations.

    • Coordinate with trade marketing to align promotions and distribution strategies.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales operations, preferably in FMCG.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in sales analytics, forecasting, and CRM tools.

  • Ability to optimize sales processes and drive efficiency.
