Job Description
Yod Abyssinia was established in 2003 with a mission to Yod Abyssinia Cultural Restaurant, one of the pioneering and most reputable cultural restaurants in Addis Ababa that has been introducing proudly the Ethiopian hospitality through diverse cuisines, culture, dance, and music for the last 20 years that meet the need of tourists, business travelers diaspora. Currently, Yod is engaged in Cultural restaurant, International hotel, Travel and Tour and coffee processing businesses. We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment. As we continue to grow and enhance our operations, we seek skilled professionals to join our team in the following roles.
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
Prepare employment contracts, onboarding documents, and ensure smooth employee induction.
Maintain and update employee records, databases, and HR documentation.
Support the administration of payroll, benefits, and leave management.
Assist in organizing and delivering employee training and development programs.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and leave requests.
Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations.
Assist in the handling and resolution of employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
Contribute to the performance appraisal process by coordinating reviews and tracking progress.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and welfare regulations.
Prepare regular HR reports and data analysis as required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
2 years of relevant HR experience.
Familiarity with labor law and HR best practices.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Proficient in MS Office tools.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
