Position 2 : Senior Web and Visual Designer Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Design and Creative Unit
Edge Communication Technologies PLC is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Senior Web and Visual Designer who can design engaging and user-centric web and digital assets. The ideal candidate will work closely with marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to create visually compelling designs that reflect our brand identity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Design modern, responsive, and interactive websites
Create UI/UX mockups, wireframes, and prototypes for internal and client- facing platforms
Collaborate on branding, including logo creation, iconography, and visual identity
Produce digital design materials such as social media graphics, infographics, banners, and presentations
Support the marketing team in campaign and promotional visuals
Ensure design consistency across all platforms and channels
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , IT, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field
3+ years of experience in web design, UI/UX, and visual branding
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or similar tools
Solid understanding of design systems, typography, and color theory
Experience designing in tech or telecom industry is a plus
Basic HTML/CSS understanding is a plus
