Job Description

Advises organizations on setting up and managing microfinance programs/

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage establishment of the microfinance according to the national bank of Ethiopia

  • Conduct market research and analysis, on NEW microfinances under establishment, registering a new microfinance

  • Design microfinance products and policies (loans, savings, insurance)

  • Develop operational procedures and risk management strategies

  • Provide staff training and capacity building

  • Ensure regulatory compliance

  • Monitor and evaluate program performance

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Master’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Proven track record of establishing microfinances in the last 2 years

  • Extensive microfinance experience (advisory and in-field)

  • Strong analytical, communication, and technical skills

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus

  • Key Skills/Experience:Microfinance ops, product dev, compliance

  • Education:Master’s

  • Leadership:Yes

  • Communication:Yes
