Job Description
General Duty and Responsibility:
The Senior HR Talent & Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing the full employee life-cycle from recruitment through employment relations while ensuring regulatory compliance across all HR functions. This comprehensive role combines talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration, and employee relations with a strong focus on compliance in the healthcare environment. The position serves as the primary point of contact for employee-facing HR matters and plays a critical role in maintaining a compliant, engaged workforce.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Management
Manage full-cycle recruitment for all hospital positions (clinical and non-clinical)
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and employer branding
Coordinate comprehensive onboarding processes for new employees
Build and maintain relationships with department heads to understand staffing needs
Develop job descriptions, compensation packages, and employment offers
Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire)
Represent the hospital at recruitment events and career fairs
Implement talent acquisition best practices adapted to healthcare environment
Compensation & Benefits Administration
Administer compensation programs, structures, and salary bands
Manage benefits enrollment, administration, and employee inquiries
Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive compensation
Serve as primary liaison with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing
Ensure compliance with compensation and benefits regulations
Manage vendor relationships for benefits providers
Handle complex compensation and benefits inquiries and issues
Develop and implement total rewards communication strategies
Employee Relations & Compliance
Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations issues and concerns
Conduct investigations into workplace complaints and employee grievances
Develop, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures
Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare-specific regulations
Coordinate mandatory training, certifications, and compliance tracking
Manage performance improvement processes and disciplinary actions
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters
Maintain documentation of employee relations issues and resolutions
Monitor regulatory changes and update policies and practices accordingly
Training & Development Support
Identify training needs across the organization through needs assessments
Coordinate mandatory compliance training programs
Support the development of training materials and resources
Track training completion, certifications, and mandatory requirements
Support career development initiatives and succession planning
Facilitate new employee orientation and integration programs
Coordinate performance evaluation processes and systems
Identify and implement employee engagement initiatives
Collaboration and Communication:
Work collaboratively with clinical staff, management, and other stakeholders to foster a culture of good working environment.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
Requires a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including demonstrated expertise in recruitment, compensation, and employee relations. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a senior HR role is also required
Healthcare industry experience is plus
HR certification is plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices
Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment abilities
Knowledge of compensation structures and benefits administration
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
