Duties & Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Leadership

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth and profitability.

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and Board of Directors to inform decision-making.

• Lead the development of long-term financial plans, forecasts, and budgets aligned with the company’s vision and goals.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting to ensure accurate and timely insights into the company’s financial performance.

• Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to optimize performance.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and overall financial health to ensure stability and sustainability.

Accounting and Financial Reporting

• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.

• Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and reports in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS).

• Present financial results to the Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders.

Budgeting and Cost Management

• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

• Implement cost control measures to improve efficiency and profitability.

• Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis with corrective action plans.

Taxation and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all local and international tax regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and payroll taxes.

• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure accurate and timely filings.

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.

Treasury and Cash Management

• Manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and financing strategies to meet operational and strategic needs.

• Oversee banking relationships, manage currency risks, and optimize the use of financial resources.

• Review and approve major payments and investments, ensuring adherence to financial policies.

Financial Risk Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks, including currency, credit, and market risks.

• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company’s financial interests.

• Provide financial risk assessments for new projects, acquisitions, and business opportunities.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet evolving business needs.

• Promote collaboration and accountability within the finance department and across the organization.

Strategic Financial Advice

• Act as a trusted advisor to the executive team on financial matters, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.

• Participate in the development of the company’s overall corporate strategy and long-term planning.

• Provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other external stakeholders.

• Represent the company in financial discussions with external parties, ensuring alignment with the company’s interests.

• Communicate financial performance and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaboration

• Work closely with other departments to ensure financial alignment with operational goals.

• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects to support the company’s overall success.

Job Requirements

• Education : BA/MSC in accounting or finance

• Experience : 12/10 years of experience, including 2 years as CFO in a similar or related industry.
